Sen Pho & Cafe (Kerrisdale)

Been to this place a few times already. It’s a small family run business which you know the soup is good. They really put an effort on fine tuning the details. The regular pho is very good. If you are a bun bo hue fan, you got to try this! Look at the details including the pork rind on top! The soup is phenomenal! I also had takeout of their sandwiches and I found the pate tastes quite unique, they said it’s made in the house! No wonder it’s good, tasted exactly what I tasted when I travelled to Hanoi! This is a little gem you got to try. Forgot to mention the staff are always so friendly!

Small cozy restaurant. No air conditioning so it gets stuffy inside as well as lots of flying insects because they leave the door open when it gets too warm. The service was nice and the food was decent. Nothing stood out too much. Pho is pretty basic. The bo kho came with one strip of meat. It would have been easier to eat if it was cut up. It was very tender. Nice neighbourhood lots of street parking.

Great little family own restaurant in kerrisdale. The food is very good an legit vietnamese food. Real bone broth is used for the Pho, the broth is made by cooking bones for 24th!

Fantastic home style Vietnamese meal. Eric was a great server. We had the salad roll and spring roll and both were excellent and super fresh. The peanut sauce was tasty. For mains we had the beef pho, chicken soup and Chicken and Pork Vermicelli. All were excellent. Price was very fair for the quality. Will be back for sure.

Great service and delicious pho. The portions were generous and everything tasted fresh. I had to step out for a few minutes and the staff kindly asked if I wanted my dish reheated when I got back, which I really appreciated. Such a nice little spot in Kerrisdale — I’d happily come back. This Vietnamese bistro is near to my home on the East Boulevard. I have been there once before when it was just started. After a long while I came here for the pho again. I can tell the quality has improved a bit. But I would like to have a more tasty broth. If I come with friend I would order the friend chicken wings as well. Many people like this dish. The place has limited space and table. It is really a bistro in the neighbour. The owner serve the guests himself. Overall it has a friendly and welcoming vibe.

Everything spectacular. From appetizer to the beef bone marrow Pho including their dessert fruit mixed on a cup. Highly recommended cozy restaurant. Service is above a beyond, Lam our server is extremely sincerely and polite. He made sure everything is good from our food and the temperature in the restaurant. He’s an AAA+ customer service to the max.

A new, small and cozy Vietnamese restaurant that just opened in the area. Great flavours overall, with the chicken wings and the spring rolls being highlights. The salad rolls were good quality; pretty standard and what one would expect. The special pho had a different type of noodle than the spicy beef shank noodle, both of which were good however. I like the broth of the special pho more than the spicy broth personally. Both noodles were good, solid quality. Decent place to come for Vietnamese food, and I would consider coming back if I was in the area. Note that it’s a small restaurant space so it’s probably better for small groups of people.
